This always happens to me. Every time I hear a song and liked it, I do everything to get the lyrics and then download it, be it legally or illegally through downloading sites (hehe).
Anyway, I keep on hearing Astro Nuts’ (I first thought it was Astronauts or Astronaughts when I was searching for it) “As Strong as the Sun” over 99.5 RT several months ago but the dj’s always failed to mentioned about the title. I am not a fan of house music but I instantly fell in love with the song the first time I heard it. I couldn’t come up with a phrase from the song to complete my search on Google, so I always end up failing.
Anyways, good thing that the sister station of RT 99.5, Magic 89.9 played that song recently, especially on Andi9 and Jessica’s slot (Magic Top 5@5). And what’s even more exciting is they offered the song for download directly to cellphones. And now, I have the copy of it. Yay.
For those who want to have a copy of the song, you can download it through iTunes also which costs around $0.99-1.99.
You can download it through YouTube also. The one at Youtube is not the video though.
Okay, I realized that for a long time, I have not been blogging about personal things and stuff. And I had a “blog vacation” for over 3 months already because I have to review for the August 2009 Physician Licensure Examination. It’s fast approaching and I am crossing my fingers. Please pray for me.
I have not watched the Pacquiao vs Hatton fight, called the Battle of the East and the West which happened this morning because of some make up duties. Good thing some bloggers have uploaded the fight to their blogs so we could watch a live streams or videos.
For videos, please visit http://teampilipinas.info/2009/05/pacquiao-vs-hatton-live-stream.html.
As the competition heats up, the show also gets interesting as some of the world’s greatest talents performs on American Idol. I was watching American Idol on QTV a while ago and was glad to have seen Lady Gaga perform a different “Poker Face” version. She also played the piano which made the performance all the more interesting.

April 1 is April Fools Day. As the name implies, it is the day for pranks and practical jokes. Surely, you’ve been pranked by your friends and loved ones. So what was the best you have experienced?
Some websites provide good practical jokes that you can use this April Fools Day.
April Fool Zone provides great classical, office, and computer pranks.
Ex: Set the victim’s alarm clock for the middle of the night and hide it somewhere in the room where they will have to get up and scramble around to turn it off. (This works even better if you sneak in after they go to sleep and unscrew the light bulb in their lamp. Then they’ll have to search for the clock in the dark!)
TipJunkie listed some of the great April Fools’ Day Pranks especially the safe ones you can do on your household.
A great video from Household Pranker is also on YouTube, giving tips on how to prank your roommate.

There is a good news to all fresh graduates, laid-off workers or to those who want to have a new job. The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Phil-job.net and Jobstreet.com will be holding the first biggest and longest job fair. More than 85,000 jobs will be available for applicants.
The job fair is called, “Labor Day Tayo Na! Trabaho Na! Jobapalooza ’09″ that will be launched from March 30 to May 1 but it will be held simultaneously in 16 regions on May 1 and would be centered at the SM Mall of Asia SMX Convention Hall, Pasay City.
One piece of advice: Before going to the fair, make sure to complete your resumes and be in a presentable attire.
Imeem, Last FM, MySpace Music and Pandora are probably four of the most popular music streaming sites that enable their users to listen to their user-uploaded music for free. However, most of these sites does not allow you to download the tracks directly. This becomes a frustration to many.
Imagine this scenario: You have just listened to a good, but rare music from Imeem, which instantly become your favorite. You search all over it over Google, Yahoo, file-sharing sites like 4shared.com, Rapidshare, and P2P programs like Limewire. But all of the searches returned “No Results”. Imagine how frustrating it is. I personally experience the frustration especially when I am listening to a playlist in Imeem. The only possible way to get the track is to pay for it in iTunes or Amazon. But who does want to pay when he/she can acquire it for free?
So to end up my frustrations, I looked for ways to download the mp3s or tacks from Imeem, Last FM, MySpace, Pandora, and the like. Here are a step by step procedure to do this.
