How do I use GCASH on Friendster?
It was early last month when Friendster started to offer the Send Money feature and it started appearing at Friendster user profiles. This feature was in cooperation with Globe GCash, Globe Telecom’s mobile commerce service that turns your mobile phone into a virtual wallet. Through text messages, GCash made it possible to Globe and TM Subscribers to send money to other subscribers of said networks. Aside from that, GCash is also used as Money Transfer and Remittance service and to pay bills and services.
So how to use Globe GCash in Friendster?
Using GCASH on Friendster is easy! Just follow these 4 steps:
Register on Friendster using your Globe or TM mobile number by texting REG
to 2276.
On your Friendster profile page, a “Send GCASH” link under “My Tools” can be seen. Note. You must be logged into Friendster to see this.
To send money, click on “Send GCASH” and you’ll see a list of friends that also have enabled GCASH on Friendster. Click on the friend you’d like to send GCASH to, enter the amount and click “Send”.
You can also send GCASH to any GCASH-enabled Globe or TM number. Click the Globe / TM number tab, enter the mobile number, enter the amount and click “Send”.
You’ll be asked to confirm the transaction with your 4-digit MPIN.
