Eleven-year old, Kyle Imao of Marikina, was hailed as the first Pinoy Junior Masterchef during the show’s finale “The Live Cook Off” held on Saturday, February 18.
Kyle’s skills and interest in cooking rooted from his dad. As a kid, he likes to experiment in the kitchen and to replicate dishes he saw on cooking TV shows.
Kyle garnered a total of 91.8 total score from the 2 challenges they underwent for the finale live cook-off. His dream dish “Asian Fusion Shrimps and Scallops” has won him the title as the “1st Pinoy Junior Masterchef”, a P1.5-million scholarship grant from Treston International College, and a P1 M cash prize.
Philip Amarillo won as the second placer with P1.5-million scholarship grant from Treston College, and a P500,000 cash prize with his “Seafood Asian Noodles”. Mika Tanaka and Jobim Jalbuena are the third and fourth placer, respectively, both of them winning P250,000 -scholarship from Treston College.
