The Korean invasion never fades. The Korean drama/telenovela fans have something to watch out for in the Philippine TV. ABS-CBN is going to air the romantic-drama-comedy “My Princess” this April as one of their drama line-ups for their Kapamilya Gold. My Princess is a constant top-rater in Korea.
Besides that it’s Korean, the princess and fairytale kind-of stories always clicks to the Filipino viewers. Added to that, “My Princess” is top-billed by Kim Tae-hee (Stairway to Heaven and Love Story in Harvard) and Song Seung-hun (Endless Love: Autumn in My Heart), whom we are already familiar with.

My Princess Plot:
As a small girl, Lee Seol had a dream of becoming a princess. She’s an orphan, and has been adopted when she was 5: since then, she had to work hard to make it into university, where she fell in love with one of her lecturer. This lecturer will later find out that lee Seol is actually a princess (a real princess).
Her sister gets jealous and tries to steal Lee Seol’s place by winning Park Hae Young’s heart.
Park Hae Young is a diplomat in charge of teaching Lee Seol what a princess has to know. He’s the heir of a big company’s CEO, ang graduated from Ivy League University: He’s considered a a modern prince. He’s nice to Lee Seol when other people are around, changes his behaviour as soon as they’re alone. Yet, he’s somehow moved by this simple girl, who wants to talk to the citizen with her heart, and is more concerned about saving archeological treasures than learning how to dance.
Park Hae Young is surprised when his rich grandfather decides to return all the money he has earned to the community. Does it make sense? What are his reasons for doing that?
