“Unofficially Yours” is said to be the romantic comedy of the year and is expected to topple box office records set by “Praybeyt Benjamin” and “No Other Woman,” both are also from Star Cinema.   Further, it is directed by box-office director Cathy Garcia-Molina.   The undeniably strong chemistry between John Lloyd Cruz and Angel Locsin was first seen in the small screen with “Imortal”, which was a top rater.

The movie talks about “casual relationships” and “modern-day romance.”  John Lloyd plays Macky Galvez, who have had several failed relationships and Angel plays Ces, a reporter and an independent woman who doesn’t believe in commitment.  When the two met, a sexy love story began to bloom.

Unofficially Yours will be shown in 100 theaters nationwide on February 15 as a Valentine offering from Star Cinema. It will surely be a perfect date movie.

Being one of the much-awaited movies of the year, seeing the movie was a great Christmas treat for fans.

I was having a hard time acquainting myself as new characters are injected because I have not read the series. I went with my sister, and gladly she was there to explain everything to me to get oriented with the movie. I would shamefully admit that I only know few characters even if I got to watch since first part.

Top billed by today’s three of Philippine showbiz’ biggest stars – Derek Ramsay, Christine Reyes and Anne Curtis, “No Other Woman” is an upcoming romantic, sexy-themed film from a joint venture of Star Cinema and Viva Films.

From the title itself, the story revolves around the lives of three persons caught in a web of one of the frequent issues faced by marriage couple – infidelity. Christine plays as the legal wife while Anne plays the other woman.

“No Other Woman” is directed by Ruel Santos Bayani and will be released on September 28, 2011 in cinemas nationwide. The official trailer was released few hours ago and it has been a trending topic on Twitter worldwide. The trailer sure arose curiosity and interest among moviegoers.

Cast includes Kevin James (Grown Ups, I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry), Henry Winkler (Click, Arrested Development) and Joe Rogan (Fear Factor).

With spectacular casts, Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson (two of my favorite female actresses) and Eric Bana, a historical plot, and great cinematography, this movie will surely make it to the top box-office hits.

I’ve always been a fan of novel-based movies, so I couldn’t also wait for this one. This movie will be released on February 29, 2008 (US released date).
