Ateneo Hosts UAAP Season 74

The De La Salle University (DLSU), who were last year’s UAAP host school turned over the hosting chores to its rival school, Ateneo De Manila University (ADMU) last March 2011. The Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) will be the host of the much-anticipated University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 74 which commences on July 9, 2011 at the Marikina Sports Center. The opening ceremonies will air live at Studio 23.

Will it be a 4-peat (4 and repeat) for the Blue Eagles this time? The Ateneo Blue Eagles won their straight 3rd championship in last year’s UAAP Season 73 Men’s Basketball. We’ll find out soon!

Ateneo Blue Eagles recently grabbed the FilOil Flying V Pre-season Finals Championship, trashing the San Beda Red Lions on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at the San Juan Arena with 75-56.
