Fans are excited for the 2013 62nd NBA All-Star Weekend.
The 2013 62nd NBA All-Star Weekend will be played at the Toyota Center in Houston on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at 8 p.m. (10:00 AM, Feb 18 Manila time). It will be televised exclusively on TNT and broadcast exclusively on ESPN Radio in the U.S. In the Philippines, Studio 23 was granted rights to air the much-anticipated basketball match as announced through the ABS-CBN Sports official Twitter account.
In the 2013 NBA All-Star Balloting announced on January 17, the Los Angeles Lakers’ Kobe Bryant gets the most votes from fans with (1,591,437) edging Miami Heat’s LeBron James (1,583,646). He now has 15th consecutive All-Star nod record, and tied with Jerry West, Karl Malone and Shaquille O’Neal for the most consecutive NBA All-Star selections.
The top vote-getters from each conference during the 2013 NBA All-Star Balloting make up the starting five.
Western Conference 2013 62nd NBA All-Star Weekend starting lineup:

Eastern Conference 2013 62nd NBA All-Star Weekend starting lineup:

- Kevin Garnett (Boston Celtics)
- Dwyane Wade (Miami Heat)
- Rajon Rondo (Boston Celtics)
For the reserves, NBA head coaches will choose seven players coming from their conference including 2 guards, 3 front court players and 2 players regardless of position. The coaches are, however, not permitted to vote for players from their team. Reserves will be announced Jan. 24, on TNT.
The East and West All-Star coaches and coaching staffs will be determined by the best record in the conference through games played Feb. 3.
