Trying the Smart Uzzap Beta
One thing I love about the new phones are the 3G internet. It makes me browse the internet everywhere. One thing’s missing though, the chatting feature. I couldn’t login to my Yahoo! Messenger through my laptop because of busy schedule and of course, I don’t bring my laptop anywhere I go.
I found a cool service from Smart called Smart Uzzap where it allows me to chat with friends, even when not in front of my laptop or PC. It’s a recommended service to Smart subscribers on-the-go but needs to connect to their loved ones online most of the times.
What is Smart Uzzap?
The Smart Uzzap is a new service from Smart Telecom that lets its subscribers to connect with friends through instant messengers like Yahoo! Messengers and MSN and to friends who has Smart Uzzap account.
What are the features of Smart Uzzap?
- It has an “Automatic Buddy Matching” feature which allows your address book contacts to be automatically listed in your Buddy List when they are registered to Uzzap by uploading your address book.
- The “Instant Messaging” feature allow you to with your YM and MSN friends wherever you are!
The Smart Uzzap incorporates of buddy list from Yahoo! Messenger, your Smart Uzzap contacts, and MSN Messenger.
- The “Extended Messaging” allows you to send messages to all your buddies even if you are online.
- The “Chat Room” feature allows you to chat with other registered Uzzap users.
- Best of all, the Smart Uzzap is free. It is currently on its Beta Trial period. There are currently no chargers for data or sending messages. After the Beta period, logging in and receiving messages will still be free, however, charges will apply for sending messages.
What do you need to use Uzzap?
- You have to download the software and install it to your phone.
- It requires a GPRS or 3G enabled phones.
- And most of all, of course, you have to be a Smart subscriber.
