United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) senatorial candidate Nancy Binay is considered as big winner in latest April 2013 Social Weather Station (SWS) survey for senatoriables less than a month prior to the May 13 polls. The neophyte is poised at the 3rd-4th spot, head-to-head with Liberal Party’s Cynthia Villar, in the latest survey released April 21 by SWS media partner, Business World.
On the other hand, controversies surrounding his love life marred Chiz Escudero’s chances in the senate. The re-electionist dropped 2 rankings and settled at 5th spot.
Despite the changes in rankings, the likely number of candidates to occupy senatorial seats remains the same. In the latest survey results, Team PNoy still lead the race with 9 bets possibly entering the Magic 12 come May 2013 elections. Two other candidates from UNA might join Binay and grab seats in the senate.
Re-electionists Loren Legarda and Allan Peter “Compañero” Cayetano maintained their holds on first and second spots, respectively. The two LP bets have consistently ranked on top of surveys since August 2012.
Below are April 2013 SWS senatorial survey results:
