Having a dual SIM phone is very convenient especially for persons with two different network subscriptions. Like in my case, I am a subscriber of both Smart and SUN. Is the Globe Wimax Good?
I’ve been in a search for a good internet connection ever since I had my residency training here in Manila but I seemingly couldn’t find a satisfactory one. When I was still in Iligan City, we had PLDT MyDSL as our internet provider, which was quite faster compared to my first connection which was SmartBro.
Since I am using the internet everywhere, and unfortunately, WiFi connections are not everywhere, I have to get a connection which I can bring anywhere, like the Smart Bro Prepaid USB Modem. The connection was fast, however, it keeps disconnected from time to time and several disconnection time is always my pet peeve. So when Sun Broadband came, I subscribed to their unlimited plan. At first there was flawless connection, however, recently, I had several downtimes and sluggish connection, especially during the night. One of the disadvantages of wireless services especially the 3G is its dependence of network signal and is altered by network congestion. Especially if you’re in Metro Manila, you expect this kind of problem [sluggish connection and several downtimes] with this 3G/HSDPA/WCDMA networks.
So now, I am thinking of switching to a 4G connection, offered by Globe Telecom with its newest Globe Wimax. The plans were quite convincing to subscribe to however, I am still searching for reviews regarding the Globe Wimax. So for those who have tried it, please give me some feedbacks about Globe Wimax.

Justin Bieber’s Arrest, Only a Rumor
Several paparazzi and gossip sites have posted about the alleged Justin Bieber arrest, which turned out to be just a rumor. This speculation arose over the internet, especially over networking sites like Facebook and Twitter, but this has not been confirmed.
Rumors about the alleged Justin Bieber arrest started to circulate, stating that the arrest was due to rebellious actions the star has shown.
The Justin Bieber arrested rumor states that the singer had been arrested along with a friend outside the Ringo’s Pub, some miles to the north of Dallas. The singer had apparently gone there to hang out at two in the morning, and the cops had tried to restrict him from entering the area, citing as reason a prevailing curfew. The incident allegedly occurred in the parking lot of the area, and the rumor states that Justin Bieber lost his temper at the cops when they tried to stop him from parking, and even went on to shout out the F-word, shocking all those present. Next Attraction: Nokia N8
I’ve been a gadget freak for 10 years, but due to financial incapacity, most of the gadgets I liked were beyond my reach. So I settled to affordable touchscreen phones like the Samsung Star Wifi, which is the one I am using right now. Now that I have my job, my fancy to gadgets was heightened. I want to upgrade my phone so I am eye-ing for the Samsung Jet as an option. However, when I heard that Nokia is releasing their first Symbian 3 device – the Nokia N8, I decided to just wait and save up for it because I predict it will cost around P25,000 – P30,000. Problem though is there is no exact date of release in the Philippines. I’ve been browsing the Nokia Philippines website but there was no indication of the release date.
The Nokia N8 has every feature I like for a cellphone – a high-resolution camera with flash (12 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and Xenon flash), an enough amount of memory (Internal memory: 16 GB and MicroSD memory card slot, hot swappable, up to 32 GB) for my huge music and movie collection, a good speaker (powered by Dolby Digital), a speedy connectivity (with WLAN IEEE802.11 b/g/n), and other features.

Kites is another Bollywood film that is said to be another highly anticipated movie. It stars Hrithik Roshan, Barbara Mori, Kangana Ranaut, and Kabir Bedi. The film has been released in India on 21 May 2010 and will be released on its international version entitled Kites: The Remix which was set for release on May 28, 2010.
The story revolves around Jay, played by Hrithik Roshan, a Bollywood dance teacher who marries immigrant women to get them green cards. When Gina (Kangana Ranaut), the rich daughter of a powerful casino owner (Kabir Bedi), falls for him, J. goes along in order to marry into money. He discovers that his future brother-in-law, the vicious, homicidal Tony (Nick Brown), is about to marry a beautiful Mexican woman named Natasha (Barbara Mori), whom J. knows as Linda, the last of the immigrant women he married. On the night before “Natasha” and Tony’s wedding, Linda and J. spend a romantic but chaste night, humorously agreeing to a “divorce.” A jealous, gun-wielding Tony, however, arrives at her apartment while J. is there, and after he hits her, Linda impulsively knocks him out with a heavy object while he tussles with J.
