Tropical Depression (Bagyong) Ramon Update: Storm signals raised in some parts in Mindanao (October 10, 2011)

According to a PAGASA weather update, Tropical Depression (TD) “RAMON” was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 560 km East Southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao Del Sur (7.5°N, 131.7°E) with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center. It is forecast to move West at 15 kph. It has accelerated slightly as it moves in a West Northwest direction.

Storm signal number 1 is raised in Surigao Del Norte, Siargao Island, Surigao Del Sur, Agusan Del Norte, Northern Agusan Del Sur, Dinagat Group of Islands.
