The Professional Regulation Commission has announced the new schedule and deadline of filing 2013 NLE (Nursing Licensure Examination) on Monday, February 25.
According to the PRC, the Board of Nursing (BoN) has decided to reset the 2013 NLE schedules due to the less availability of classrooms or testing centers outside Metro Manila during the scheduled period.
In its issuance of Board Resolution No. 14 dated February 15, 2013, the BoN mentioned the difficulty of securing appropriate examination venues has been a recurring problem of PRC Regional Offices, which needs to be solved, thus re-scheduling has been an option.
Below is the new schedule of the July and December 2013 NLE as well as the deadline of filing for each respective examination date:
- July 6-7, 2013 has been moved more than a month earlier to June 2-3, 2013. Deadline of filing for first takers will be on April 19, 2013 and for repeaters on March 29, 2013.
- December 15-16, 2013 schedule has been moved a week earlier to December 7-8, 2013. Deadline of filing for first takers will be on October 25, 2013 and repeaters on October 11, 2013.
The Nurse licensure exams will be held in 16 testing centers nationwide.

April 19, 2013 at 8:54 ammala ko naman ., late naa ko nag inquire exam., June na pala ang schedule ang masklap pa ay March 29 deadline ng repeater., pwedi po ba ma extend? Ngayon din pala and deadline ng first taker.

I went to PRC earlier to file NLE, my last take was 2011. I was asked if I was on old or new curriculum, yung new curriculum they are not asked to pass their cases kelangan lang nilang ipresent yung undertaking certificate nila, pero pag old kelangan lahat ng files like cases mo dala mo. hindi ko alam yung bagong process nila. any idea? help!
Next, dahil ndi na ko pwede magfile for June exam, what’s the earliest date para mag file ng NLE for December?
