Two long weekends await employees and students for the month of December 2012.   December 24, which falls on Monday was declared a special non-working holiday throughout the Philippines under Proclamation 361 to give people full opportunity to celebrate Christmas with their family and loved ones.

December 31, a Monday was also declared as a holiday as the Last Day of the Year.  It is a special non-working holiday.

Below is the complete list of holidays for December 2012:

  • December 24, Monday – (special non-working day by virtue of Proclamation 361, s. 2012)
  • December 25, Tuesday – Christmas Day (regular holiday)
  • December 30, Sunday – Rizal Day (regular holiday)
  • December 31, Monday – Last Day of the Year (special non-working day)
