Imeem, Last FM, MySpace Music and Pandora are probably four of the most popular music streaming sites that enable their users to listen to their user-uploaded music for free. However, most of these sites does not allow you to download the tracks directly. This becomes a frustration to many.
Imagine this scenario: You have just listened to a good, but rare music from Imeem, which instantly become your favorite. You search all over it over Google, Yahoo, file-sharing sites like 4shared.com, Rapidshare, and P2P programs like Limewire. But all of the searches returned “No Results”. Imagine how frustrating it is. I personally experience the frustration especially when I am listening to a playlist in Imeem. The only possible way to get the track is to pay for it in iTunes or Amazon. But who does want to pay when he/she can acquire it for free?
So to end up my frustrations, I looked for ways to download the mp3s or tacks from Imeem, Last FM, MySpace, Pandora, and the like. Here are a step by step procedure to do this.
First thing, you need the great online downloading tool from Smallvideosoft website.
So you already have these two great tools. To start your downloading,
1. Go to Imeem, Last FM, MySpace, Pandora or any other online streaming sites.
2. Search for your favorite song. Copy the link.
3. Go to File2HD.com.
4. Paste the link on the URL field. It will give you the download link for the file.
5. Then Right Click on download link. Choose “Save Target As” or “Save Link As”.
6. Put a .flv extension at the end of the file name. For example, Halo – Beyonce.flv.
7. Wait for the download to finish.
8. Open the Freez FLV to MP3 Converter. Then add the .flv files you have downloaded on the queue.
9. Then start converting.
10. You’re done! That’s how simple it is.
But if you are an advocate of copyright laws and want to support the artist, you can always download the music through iTunes and other paid, and legal downloading sites. The aforementioned tips are only for those who prefers to get their music for free downloads, or pirates you could say.
