Bring1DToThePhilippines is currently a trending topic on Twitter.

Fans of the famous boy band, One Direction, clamor for the group to come to the Philippines for a concert.  One Direction are a British-Irish boy band, consisting of members Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson. Their debut single, “What Makes You Beautiful”, released last September 2011, became the third fastest single of 2011.  Their debut album “Up All Night” was the fastest-selling debut album on the UK Albums Chart of 2011.

The group was formed after the suggestion of The X-Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger, after each of them auditioned and failed to qualify for the “Boys”  category.  They finished third.

Considering the huge following of the group from the Philippines, a concert will undoubtedly be a successful one.  Hmm, who knows, concert producers might heed to the clamor of the One Directioners.
