A Short Metaphorical Story
Jan 15, 2008 Literature
Pencil maker to pencil: Before I send you out, remember these 5 things and you’ll be a great pencil:
1. You are capable of many things, only if you allow yourself to be held in someone’s hands.
2.You will experience painful sharpening from time to time, but you’ll need it to become a better pencil.
3. You have the ability to correct mistakes you make.
4. The most important part of you will always be what’s inside. And;
5. on every surface were you are used, you must always leave a mark.
The pencil understood and promised to remember. He bore in mind what the pencil maker said and he lived happily ever after.
