PhilHealth currently considers hiring or recruiting 600 nurses to be deployed in PhilHealth-accredited big public or government and Level 2 hospitals in the country to be called PhilHealth CARES nurses or CARE staff nurses.
According to PhilHealth President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Dr. Eduardo Banzon, the nurses will be hired under the Customer Assistance Relation and Empowerment (CARE) program of the agency. He added that the nurses will be tasked to provide superior customer service to members and dependents seeking health care to PhilHealth-accredited hospitals.
