With the changing world, innovations come out everywhere. Everyone resorts to touch screen now – touchscreen smart phones and the latest craze – tablets such as the iPad, Galaxy Tab, the PlayBook among others. The latter put the netbook markets on plunging status as gadgets enthusiasts predict the low sales of netbooks in the coming months.
But those who are fans of the two, Toshiba offers its new innovation – the Toshiba Libretto W100 dual screen laptop PC. It sports dual-screen versatility, portability, wireless connectivity and freedom, and seamless synchronization to other PCs.
The new Toshiba W100 ultra mobile PC has a 7” diagonal multi-touch screens that work horizontally or vertically perfect for ebooks or enjoying movies, music and photos. It has virtual keyboards plus a “soft” track pad that let you type, click and browse the way you want. It weighs under 2 pounds (so that’s less than a kilo) with its clamshell design. Wireless connectivity and camera have now became essential accessories of every laptop PCs to which the Libretto is also addressing to. It runs on Windows 7 Home Premium. However, this ultra mobile PC is priced at starting at $1,099.99 (if converted to peso it will be around Php 50,000.009). It is however not yet available in the Philippines.
