Two Filipino-Americans, Marko Germar and Tadd Gadduang, are currently making us proud after making it to the Top 6 in America’s highest-rated dance show, So You Think You Can Dance. The two of them both have a chance to bag the $250,000 grand prize, apart from the fame it ensues.
Marko Germar got noticed with his smooth contemporary dancing. During the July 27 episode, Marko, alongside Allison Holker, danced the to the tune of “It’s All Over Now” by Jeff Buckley. The performance was emotional, even making Lady Gaga, who was a guest judge, cry and gaining standing ovation from the crowd.
Meanwhile, Tadd Gadduang is also impressing the judges and the audience with his snappy hip-hop moves. In the Top 8 Performances last July 27, he danced a jazz-inspired number to the tune of “Another One Bites the Dust” by the Queen and was remarkable for wearing a Philippine-flag during his past performances.
