Examinees of the National Qualifying Examination for School Heads (NQESH) administered by the Department of Education (DepEd) last January 6, 2013 is highly anticipating for the release of the NQESH results which is rumored to be up on April 2013.
To confirm this rumored date of release, we asked someone from a DepEd regional office if there is truth to it. She told us that there is still no definite date when will the January 2013 NQESH result will be revealed but she said it will likely be on April. In one Facebook fan page, one user that it will indeed be uploaded next month. According to this source, DepEd officials in-charged of the administration of the test is currently reviewing the results to make sure of its accuracy.
The National Qualifying Examination for School Heads, as its name implies, is a qualifying test given to qualified and competent school heads to serve in public schools. A five-year aggregate experience as a head teacher, teacher-in-charge, master teacher and/or teacher III is the main qualification in taking the exam.
Among the areas tested in the NQESH are:
- School Leadership;
- Instructional Leadership;
- Creating a Learning Climate;
- Professional Human Resource Development;
- Parent Involvement in Building Communities;
- School Management and Daily Operations;
- Personal Integrity and Interpersonal Sensitivity;
- English Language Proficiency; and
- Reading Comprehension
