Typhoon Bebeng puts some provinces on storm signal number 1

PAGASA lists 10 provinces under Storm Signal No.1 due to Tropical Depression/Typhoon “Bebeng”. The Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas will be most affected by TD Bebeng. The said regions will experience rains with gusty winds and with moderate to rough seas. Other regions in Visayas will experience scattered to widespread rains and thunderstorms, so residents on this region should be aware of possible flashfloods and landslides. Mindanao and the rest of Luzon will be mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.

As of 11 AM today, PAGASA issued their Severe Weather Forecast putting 10 provinces under Storm Signal No.1: CAMARINES SUR, CAMARINES NORTE, ALBAY, CATANDUANES, SORSOGON, MASBATE INCLUDING TICAO AND BURIAS ISLANDS AND POLILO ISLAND, LEYTE, SAMAR PROVINCES AND BILIRAN ISLAND

Typhoon Bebeng has an estimated maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour near the center movement and is anticipated to move northwest at a speed of 13kph.
