Ex: Set the victim’s alarm clock for the middle of the night and hide it somewhere in the room where they will have to get up and scramble around to turn it off. (This works even better if you sneak in after they go to sleep and unscrew the light bulb in their lamp. Then they’ll have to search for the clock in the dark!)

How to Download Mp3s from Imeem, Last FM, Myspace Music and Pandora for FREE?
Imeem, Last FM, MySpace Music and Pandora are probably four of the most popular music streaming sites that enable their users to listen to their user-uploaded music for free. However, most of these sites does not allow you to download the tracks directly. This becomes a frustration to many.
Imagine this scenario: You have just listened to a good, but rare music from Imeem, which instantly become your favorite. You search all over it over Google, Yahoo, file-sharing sites like 4shared.com, Rapidshare, and P2P programs like Limewire. But all of the searches returned “No Results”. Imagine how frustrating it is. I personally experience the frustration especially when I am listening to a playlist in Imeem. The only possible way to get the track is to pay for it in iTunes or Amazon. But who does want to pay when he/she can acquire it for free?
So to end up my frustrations, I looked for ways to download the mp3s or tacks from Imeem, Last FM, MySpace, Pandora, and the like. Here are a step by step procedure to do this.
First thing, you need the great online downloading tool from Smallvideosoft website. Read the rest of this entry »

How to change the layout of your Facebook profile?
I’ve been using Facebook for sometime now and I think it’s way better than Friendster or other social networking site because of its interactivity and several applications to liven up your profile. But one thing I found lacking in Facebook – the ability to change your layout.
Days ago, I received an invitation to join a group that can help me customize my Facebook profile layout. They provided some simple steps to change your background image, color, and orientation of your Facebook layout.
1. You have to join the group Color Your Facebook Profile.
2. You have to invite all your friends list to join. This is because your new layout can only be viewed by friends who have installed the application. Your profile will still appear as default when viewed by non-registered members.
3. You have to install the application on your PC. For Mozilla Firefox, you can install the application through http://www.yontoo.com/DownloadFFClient.aspx. For Internet Explorer, use this link – http://www.yontoo.com/DownloadIEClient.asp. After installation on IE, click Go to PageRage Facebook App (Green Box). Then choose your preferred design and you click SELECT in the blue boxes and that´s it. Read the rest of this entry »

Sending a Paypal Payment to a Wrong E-mail Address
Nov 16, 2008 Internet, Making Money Online, Tips
“Oh, no! I have sent a Paypal payment to a wrong email address!” So what do you do if you have sent your Paypal payment to a wrong e-mail address? I had a similar problem but gladly, I fixed it immediately, thanks to the help of TNX support staff.
Last November 1, 2008, I mistyped my e-mail address on the recipient’s e-mail field for my TNX.net payment. The payout usually takes at most 5 days but this time it took longer than 7 days. I thought it was one of the busy days for TNX that could have resulted to the delay.
I tried another transaction and noticed that my e-mail address saved on the field lacked one letter. Worried as I was, I immediately sent a support ticket to the TNX staff and asked about what I should do about my problem. They promptly replied telling me that it could be fixed through creating an e-mail address similar to the mistyped one, then add it to my Paypal e-mail addresses thereafter. Fortunately, the e-mail address was still available so I was able to register it to my e-mail client, add it to my Paypal e-mail address, and finally, received the pending payment from TNX.

Speeding Up Your Smart Broadband Prepaid?
Nov 3, 2008 Internet, Tips, Wireless Technology
Prepaid broadband is now the new cool in Philippine internet because of its portability and convenience. You can basically browse the internet anywhere there’s a 3G signal.
I am particularly using Smart Broadband Prepaid and have been ranting about its inconsistency in internet connection. I have been getting interrupted connections since I bought the modem. I tried calling the Customer Service several times, keeping promise that they will try to look at the problem as soon as possible, but I had to wait for several days before I got an update.
My problem with my connection is that, I could connect but could not receive any data. So I have to make several connection attempts, sometimes even reaching 20 times or more than 30 minutes before I can finally browse the internet. My prepaid load sometimes are just put to waste in connecting alone. A customer care representative said that it could be that some of the 3G signals in the area where I am at is barred or being used by multiple users. However, I have been experiencing similar problems any day of the week, any time of the day (even at off-peak hours). So I concluded that the problem lies with the 3G/HSPDA connectivity itself.
So instead of waiting for their lousy customer service, I looked for some ways to prevent interrupted connection with Smart Bro Prepaid. Here’s what I found out. If you are continuously downloading data from the internet, your connection is continuous also. With that, I have thought of some practical ways to avoid interruption in my internet connection, and perhaps speed it up at some point. Read the rest of this entry »

How to make your website iPhone friendly?
Oct 29, 2008 Hacks and Tips, Internet, Tips
Since the advent of 3G-abled phones and smartphones like the iPhone, users have been resorting to mobile browsing to surf the internet. This should also prompt website owners to make their sites and blogs iPhone friendly.
So how to make your website iPhone-friendly?
1. Make your website ‘light’ by avoid using flash, scripts and lots of images that could result to slow-loading time. iPhone users are on-the-go browsers, meaning they need less time to open a website. Besides, not all 3G network providers can provide a fast downloading speed.
2. Use a publishing software optimized for iPhone like WordPress. Further, it is also easy to publish your blog entries using your iPhone using an application called WordPress for iPhones, so it could also be at your advantage using WordPress.
3. Choose your webhost well. Slow-loading time can also be a result of a sluggish web server.
You don’t actually need to create a separate page especially for iPhone users. All you need is a little optimization for your websites to make it iPhone users-friendly.

How to Earn Money Through Buying and Selling Websites?
Oct 28, 2008 Making Money Online, Tips
I have read a number of articles that recommends buying and selling websites as a good way to earn online. We’ve been curious as to how these website buyers and sellers make money online through this method.
Buying and selling websites have become quite a money making endeavor of the past years people have been making it a full time job. But, when you are in the market to start your own web company, make sure that you have as much information on your website, market and comps as you can.
Having enough information on the basics of buying and selling websites can give you an advantage in conducting the business. This is because it will make you more knowledgeable in the things that you are talking about. These pieces of information can also lead you to come up with good decisions that will help you earn more money by attracting more and more potential buyers.
One of the best selling points of any seller in terms of offering websites is his or her credibility. If the buying public knows that you have enough credibility, he or she wouldn’t hesitate to buy from you and can even make recommendations to his or her friends.
When it comes to buying and selling the website, here are some important things that you should keep in mind:
1. Don’t be impatient. In selling websites, the sales process has to take some time if you want to get the best price. In most cases, a period of several weeks or even months is common this is because the potential buyer is spending time doing background checks not only of the specific site but other websites that he or she has been taking into consideration. So, if you want to get the best deal, it is best to wait. As they say, great things come to those who wait. Who knows? You can find a buyer who is willing to buy your website for more that you have been expecting for.
2. Keep maintaining your website as though it is not on sale. Updating and taking care of your website as if you were not selling it is one of the selling points that many people are attracted with. Seeing a well maintained website will give them an idea that you are a credible seller and that they can trust you when it comes to issues involving financial aspects. If the website is well managed and well taken care of prior to selling, it can generate good impression and will open the doors for other possible deals and arrangements.
3. Be prepared to share a lot of private and confidential information. If you are not comfortable with this then you have a problem. The less information you give the lower the offer will be from potential buyers. The more information you give the more you expose yourself to unethical buyers.
4. Unless you are selling a modest priced website, you must protect yourself with Non Disclosure Agreements (NDA’s). This is very important because it will give you an image that you are a responsible seller who can give out information. It may also reflect you as a credible seller because it shows that you are open to financial transparency.
5. You must work with other website developers that can open the doors to pre-qualify buyers. This is very important because by working in close coordination with other developers, you will not open the doors to pre-qualify buyers but can also help you get some tips in selling the website effectively. You can also get the current trends in buying and selling websites.
