Herbert Chavez is the Filipino Superman

Filipinos are known worldwide to be “fanatic”, thus we often encounter fan clubs of local celebrities, showing all out support for their idols. A certain, Herbert Chavez, a 35-year old Filipino pageant trainer is an extraordinary fan who underwent several cosmetic surgeries to make him closely resemble Superman.

Chavez admitted said he had a nose job, chin augmentation to achieve the Man of Steel’s iconic cleft chin, silicone lip injects and thigh implants.

However, his obsession to the Man of Steel was reported to be pathologic. Reports say that he may have been suffering from Body Dysmorphic Disorder, which makes him compulsively undergo plastic surgery.

According to MayoClinic.com, body dysmorphic disorder is a type of chronic mental illness in which you can’t stop thinking about a flaw with your appearance — a flaw that is either minor or imagined. But to you, your appearance seems so shameful that you don’t want to be seen by anyone. Body dysmorphic disorder has sometimes been called “imagined ugliness.”

Indonesian Lawmaker caught watching porn during a parliamentary session resigned

A lawmaker in Indonesia, a parliament member from Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Arifinto is now in the middle of controversy after he was caught watching porn video on his tablet PC during a parliament session on Friday, April 8, 2011.

Ironically, the ‘conservative’ lawmaker helped pass a controversial anti-pornography law. Arifinto announced his resignation on Monday, April 11, 2011 because of the controversy.

Indonesian lawmaker, a supporter of anti-porn law, was caught watching pornographic videos on his tablet PC during a parliamentary session.

In an Islamic country like Indonesia, which contains the largest Muslim population in the world, everything that is sexually-related is a taboo and prohibited to some extent, and it is to include broadcasting, possessing and storing pornographic material.

The anti-porn law was used in January to sentence Nazril “Ariel” Irham, lead singer of the country’s most popular band Peterpan, to 3 1/2 years in jail after two homemade sex tapes found their way to the Internet.

A Man Sells His Life on eBay!

Years ago, I’ve heard of a small town auctioned on eBay. I thought it was one of the craziest auction I had encountered. But then, come another crazy auction: a man selling his mother-in-law (or it was the other way around?). And now, a divorced man sells his life on eBay. He says the initial trigger was his breakup with his wife. Now, you can call it crazy love.

Ian Usher realized he needed a fresh start so he put his entire life up for sale on eBay, from his toys to his toilet paper, ABC News reported.

The man has an odd way of letting go and moving on, literally!
