The movie talks about “casual relationships” and “modern-day romance.”  John Lloyd plays Macky Galvez, who have had several failed relationships and Angel plays Ces, a reporter and an independent woman who doesn’t believe in commitment.  When the two met, a sexy love story began to bloom.

Unofficially Yours will be shown in 100 theaters nationwide on February 15 as a Valentine offering from Star Cinema. It will surely be a perfect date movie.

Presented by the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society, the 6th Asian Film Awards will be held on March 19, 2012.

Renner, with film co-stars Edward Norton and Rachel Weisz, are already here in Manila to shoot scenes.   The cast and crew are said to be staying here for 45 days to film.

The filming will start tomorrow, January 11.  The MMDA will deploy 120 crowd control personnel to assist traffic enforcers during the first day of shooting in Manila’s Malate tourist district.  Some roads will also be closed to facilitate filming of the movie.  Authorities have provide alternate routes for motorists.   Locations of the shooting are set in Intramuros, Navotas Fishport, Ramon Magsaysay Blvd., Ayala Avenue, Nagtahan, Pasay Taft, Marikina City Market, San Andres Market, and Jones Bridge.

President Benigno Aquino III recognizes the honor for the Philippines to have been chosen as a shooting location for a big Universal Pictures-produced Hollywood hit.  The movie is said to boost Philippine tourism and provide jobs for Filipinos.

“Bourne Legacy” will be shown in theaters on August 3, 2012.

The story revolves around the life of an OFW, Medy, portrayed by the famous comedian Pokwang. This would be the first lead role of Pokwang, but her role in the movie is very diferent from what she usually portrays. But, most people know that if there is someone who can truly relate to the story, it would be Pokwang, as she was once an OFW herself. For a change, Pokwang will not give us a stomachache due to laughter but give us big eyebags due to crying.

She becomes an illegal immigrant of America which deprived her of some privileges.  Because of this, she struggles in America, especially when she lands on evil employers.

When Medy returns to the country,  after 7 years, King and Gerry had a hard time accepting her. There were animosity, resentment, shame and anger all over her return. King and Gerry only consider the fact that Medy left them for 7 years, but never consider the hardships she’s been through in America.

Another problem faced by Medy as she returns has something to do with her husband. She discovers something she least expected.

Among the casts are Daria Ramirez, Ana Capri, Jaime Fabregas, Aaron Junatas, K Brosas with the special participation of Atty. Michael Gurfinkel.

The movie premiered in Los Angeles, California last November 6, 2012.
