Currently, The Avengers has grossed $11,664,071 or roughly P487.5 million since its opening day in April 25. The $2,839,565 or P118 million of this gross only accounted for the weekend of May 2-6. This figure is larger than that of the  Transformers 3, which grossed only $9,770,818 or around P411.8 million when it was released last year. Thus, The Avengers now becomes the highest grossing movie of all time in the Philippines.

In the report by Walt Disney Studios Pictures Philippines, The Avengers is also currently the record-holder for the highest opening weekend, overtaking Spider-Man 3 which opened with P236 million over six days in 2007.
