HP TouchSmart tx2: The first multi-touch laptop

Another great innovative laptop is the new HP TouchSmart tx2 Laptop, which is said to be the first multi-touch laptop released by Hewlett Packard company.

HP TouchSmart tx2 adds a multi-touch screen function to the traditional convertible tablet computer. This means you can use a finger or two to draw on the screen, browse the web, click icons, and control media through HP’s homegrown MediaSmart application.

The TouchSmart tx2 is still a Vista laptop, similar to previous releases from HP. It is of AMD-based CPUs with 12.1-inch screen is powered by an ATI Radeon HD 3200 CPU, and hard drives which range from 160 to 500GB. Wi-Fi is integrated, but there’s no integrated WWAN feature available. With these great features, indeed HP TouchSmart tx2 is a smart laptop. And with great features, comes a huge but reasonable price of $1,150 but it is said to be on sale tomorrow, maybe at the HP shopping website.

*Sigh* With the minimal amount of earnings I get from my websites, I could only dream of these great laptops from HP such as this TouchSmart tx2 and the previously released Compaq CQ-50 139WM Laptop.

A Gloves for iPhone Users?

The women users of iPhone have long been complaining about the difficulty of using the touchscreen feature of the iPhone and similar gadgets, especially if they have long nails. Well, worry no more as there is a special gloves especially designed to suit the needs of iPhone users with, well, long nails.

The Freehands gloves are actually pretty cool since the fabric covering the index fingers and thumbs can be folded back to expose your fingertips. This in turn will help interact with your gadgets better without having to take off your gloves to send texts, type on your keyboard, play video games, and even answer your iPhone. Best of all, small magnets in the fingertips hold the folded tips back so they’ll always stay out of your way. Yahoo Tech News

The Freehands gloves are available in 3 varieties: leather, stretch, and fleece available at $40, $30 and $20, respectively.

Where to get ASUS Eee PC Driver for Windows

My ASUS Eee PC had a Linux OS installed when I first bought it. I was enjoying Linux during the first two weeks because of the media player, practically virus-free, and the built in drivers, etc. It basically has everything I need for a notebook. However, I had it changed to Windows XP SP3 because some of the programs I need for my studying such as iSilo does not run with Linux. It didn’t offer to me the convenience Windows XP has given me ever since I got acquainted with the internet.

I successfully installed Windows XP SP3 on it however, it also meant that the drivers for WLAN, LAN, audio, VGA camera, etc, were all deleted.  Good thing there are available drivers for download for ASUS Eee PC for Windows XP versions.

Go to EeeGuides.com to freely download the drivers.
