After almost being stripped off of her crown as the Miss Philippines – Universe 2010 because of an alleged mistakes in and fake birth certificate and her not being a Filipino citizen, Miss Philippines’ 2010 Maria Venus Raj, regained herself and finally made it to the prestigious Miss Universe 2010 pageant, and was even near to getting the crown.
She was a crowd favorite during the Miss Universe 2010 beauty pageant. Even in the preliminary competitions, she was predicted to be one of the strongest delegates. Some sources say she got the highest score in swimwear competition. Even it the evening gown competition, she was stunning. But to the dismay of many, she was at the bottom five as the 4th runner up placer. What could have gone wrong? Many presumed that the Miss Philippines 2010 answer has cost her to lost the crown.
