American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez or J-Lo is set to stage her concert in Manila this November 24, as revealed by N91 Live productions CEO Jun Lorenz Mamangon during a recent media gathering in Taguig for the upcoming Michelle Branch and Jojo concert in Manila and Cebu.

Mr. Mamangon has already confirmed the date (November 24), however, they are still discussing on the venue for the concert, whether it will be held at SM MOA’s The Arena or at the concert grounds.  But he recommends the concert in an open field where they could sell more tickets but at a lower price as compared to if the concert is held at The Arena.

Mamangon also said that he’ll work on inviting American Idol finalist Jessica Sanchez to open for J. Lo’s concert, which is not far from possible since they already know the singer back in 2000 when they opened their own production company and studio in San Diego where Jessica Sanchez enrolled for voice lessons.  His wife was her vocal coach.

The company is obviously not stopping at inviting few of the famous Hollywood celebrities to promote their clothing line, they will continue adding more as their Penshoppe All Stars.  And today, Ms. Joyce Ramirez of PR Asia Worldwide has posted in her Twitter account a teaser about their newest addition to their family whom she referred to as the new “muse” of Penshoppe.

Followers of Penshoppe has immediately guessed she was referring to Leighton Meester or Blair Waldorf of Gossip Girl. Her name has become a Twitter trending topic soon after the teaser was posted.

Somerhalder is the newest Hollywood celebrity endorser of the local clothing brand Penshoppe (TM).  He arrived in the Philippines on May 19 and is set to do series of photo shoots and attend press conferences.  His endorsement stint is his first trip to the Philippines.  The actor will stay for 1 week in the country.

The controversial DJ Mo Twister, who clearly angered Charice the most, posted a long and series of tweets of apology:

“I want to take the opportunity to apologize to Charice for a stupid & cruel joke on our show today. We attempted to be funny at her expense and, in the process, hurt her feelings. It’s with deep regret that we have come to learn that. On behalf of @suzy899 and @mia899, we apologize Charice for our stupid behavior and immature attempt to generate laughs. You have worked so very hard, not just for yourself and your family, but to put our country in a positive light, to promote immense Filipino talent, and you have done that successfully. We are proud of you and we are embarrassed because we failed to support that. I wish I could make it up to you and rest assured that we will exhaust every avenue to do so. We are sorry. You’ve been nothing but supportive of our show in the past. We failed to show our appreciation today. @OfficialCharice”.

Further, Magic 89.9 said on their official statement that an apology will be given to the international singer on the DJs morning radio show, GoodTimes,  tomorrow, May 10.

Charice’ camp, however, has not yet released any statement nor response on the apologies.
