I just knew now that March 30 is celebrated in the United States as “National Doctor’s Day”. This annual event is meant to honor the work of doctors across the United States.
The said occassion is not new because the first Doctor’s Day was observed on March 30, 1933 in Winder, Georgia, when Eudora Brown Almond – wife of Dr. Charles B. Almond – decided to set a day aside to honor physicians. In 1990, the House and Senate officially declared March 30 “National Doctor’s Day.”
In the US it is celebrated by mailing greeting cards, and sending flowers to their doctors. How I wish, we had this occasion in the Philippines, but I want it celebrated in a different way – through dayoffs, especially if you’re working on a public hospital.

Can you (or somebody else) help me to find the least expensive place on the internet to order flowers? All sites I have discovered are too expensive for me.
