Few months ago, PLDT MyDSL has offered sort of a freebie to their subscribers by launching PLDT WatchPad. It allows their subscriber to enjoy their favorite shows online. They sent out DVD installers to their myDSL Plan 999, 1995 and 3000 subscribers.
The channels are limited though, it only includes PBO, CNBC, MTV, GO, Animax, CNN, GMA7, Cartoon Network and National Geographic. We have been a PLDT myDSL subscriber for over 2 years now and I’ve been satisfied with the connection speed I get, so having this promotion is an additional satisfaction to their good service.
We only hope that other channels such as ABS-CBN, MYX, Channel V, Disney Channel, AXN, etc, could be made available soon so it can cut us off with our cable TV subscription bills.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon Premiere
The Twilight craze is here again as the second installment of the series, entitled New Moon will be premiering on November 20, 2009 at various Philippine cinemas. Fans had reserved tickets as early as now. I am also a big Twilight fan so I have already bought a ticket, but not for the premiere. It’s for a special premiere of the Resident Physicians’ Organization of the Dr. Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center on November 20, 2009 at TriNoma. It costs higher than the original tickets but the exclusivity of the event is what makes it more important.
